Last year I completed the Lightroom module, which was the last of the basic modules in the photography course I’m following. This allowed me to move the more advanced “thematic” modules. From those I picked “Nature” as topic for the first semester. It had three focus points: landscape, animal and macro photography. So I learned how to create panorama’s, how to add and manipulate light during night photography by using flash or other lightpainting techniques, how use filters (polarization, neutral-density, …) and how to work with animals and tiny objects.
I had a lot of fun during this module. We went to a lot of different locations at early/late hours to be there at the right moment, but it was worth it! I saw my skills improve over time…
Below you can see the end result of this module.
